Over the next few days, the Senate will vote on a budget to fund the priorities they consider the most important for America. We need to tell our senators today to support a bold budget resolution with sufficient resources and funding to help rebuild and repair our rural, urban, and suburban communities devastated by COVID-19’s impact.
A budget resolution is important because it’s the blueprint for how much money will be given to the major functions of government. This is how the federal government will support states and local governments in carrying out functions such as health care, education, transportation, and energy. This specific budget will help revive our country by aligning the needs of individuals, families, and communities with the collective investment of our nation’s resources. It will ensure everyone has their basic needs met so they can live out their God-given potential. Call your senators today and urge them to vote in favor of the vital resources and investments our rural, urban, and suburban communities deserve to address basic pre- and post-COVID-19 needs.
