Change.org - Better playgrounds

Rocco’s Voice for Autism wants to make playgrounds in New York more inclusive. They want “Rocco’s Law” to pass which would state that “…any new or updated playground must contain sensory-friendly equipment, communication boards, and handicap accessibility, etc.” Their mission is for kids with special needs to be able to play alongside their friends and family with proper accommodations. Sign the petition if you believe inclusive playgrounds should be a reality.

Rocco’s Voice for Autism is currently working towards adopting:

 "ROCCO’S LAW"

The law states that any new or updated playground must contain sensory friendly equipment, communication boards, and handicap accessibility etc.

INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUNDS

Our mission is to build, and update playgrounds so all children with special needs can play along side their friends and family. Our hope is to build inclusive playgrounds that include engaging and appropriate sensory equipment for special needs children in our community and the surrounding areas.

OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE THIS A STATE LAW - "ROCCO’S LAW"

Please help us bring this to reality.
