We’re petitioning against the bigoted "Don’t Say Gay" bill in an effort to halt the undermining of social progress, and to come to the aid of those that make up the LGBTQIA+ community and who are apart of the Florida education system. This bill alienates LGBTQIA+ individuals, who’ve throughout history, faced persecution. We’ve taken several steps forward in regards to social progress. We must not allow ourselves to socially regress, or become complacent to the current state’s government trying to pass this bill. Please sign this petition to stand by your peers and educators alike, whether they’re apart of the LGBTQIA+ community or not. We must defend the future, our future, and ensure that future generations do not have to continue the fight where we began, such as generations prior have done. | |||||||||||||||
