The Ants & the Grasshopper

October 27, 2022, 7:30 PM Eastern

Register: bit.ly/PCUSAants

The Office of Public Witness and the Presbyterian Hunger Program invite you to attend a screening of The Ants and the Grasshopper, a documentary about two activists who travel to the United States from Malawi to share their experiences with climate change. The screening will take place this Thursday, October 27 at 7:30 PM Eastern and include a special introduction by the film's co-director Raj Patel. Please register here.

The Ants and the Grasshopper is the story of two Malawian women whose first-hand experience of climate-induced loss, coupled with their personal faith, inspired them to challenge climate injustice - not just at home, but around the world. Anita, an activist, and Esther, from the Presbyterian Church of Malawi, come all the way to the U.S. to let American farmers and politicians know how climate change is affecting real people.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q & A with Valery Nodem, Catherine Gordon, and Andrew Kang Bartlett.

We hope to see you there!
