GreenFaith - I just got out of jail for protesting at BlackRock–here’s what happens next

I was just released from jail for protesting BlackRock’s immoral investments into fossil fuels and deforestation.

My body is tired, but my heart is full after praying with my feet for an end to climate destruction.

Right now, we’ve got BlackRock’s attention, and when we rise up as people of faith - we can bend the arc towards justice. YOU can be part of this bold and faithful action by amplifying this powerful moment.

1. Please retweet this viral video taken yesterday at BlackRock. Now is a pivotal moment for our voices to be heard as people of faith!

2. Call BlackRock NOW: 212-810-5300. Tell them you’d like to leave a message for the CEO and ask them to: exclude fossil fuels from active funds, invest in clean energy, and adopt policies by & for Indigenous peoples. After you call, reply to this email and let us know how it went!

Rev., your voice matters.

Thank you for joining in the chorus of all of us who are declaring CLIMATE JUSTICE, NOW.

With hope,

Rev. Chelsea MacMillan
Climate Finance Campaign Organizer

P.S. To continue the critical work of organizing our communities for climate justice, GreenFaith humbly asks for your financial support. Whether it's $5 or $500, every contribution ensures we are able to support more bold, grassroots faith actions for climate justice like this one.
