 Re: Rental Assistance

Millions of Americans are still dealing with the economic impact of the pandemic, including back rent and the threat of eviction. If you or someone you know is behind on rent or utilities, now is the time to seek help.

The federal government’s  Emergency Rental Assistance Program can be used to cover up to 18 months of overdue rent and utility bills so more families can stay in their homes. To find this help, go to consumerfinance.gov/renthelp and select the state and county where you live, and the website will connect you to programs you can apply for help in your local area.

We don’t know how long the approval process could take in every city, but just starting the application process can be enough to keep you in your home.
