Media advisory: International Symposium for Communication for Social Justice in a Digital Age

On Monday, 13 September, the International Symposium for Communication for Social Justice in a Digital Age will begin online at 10 am CET in Berlin, Germany and continue until 5 pm CET on Wednesday, 15 September.

The symposium will be streamed live on social media and open online to the press. Media accreditation is required.

Accredited media are invited to a pre-event drop-in online media gathering from 9 am to 10 am CET on Monday morning.

Please fill in media accreditation form and email it to: media@wcc-coe.org, before Monday 13 Sep at 8 am CET.  

Together with our German co-organizers, we also invite accredited media to an online Press Club with panel discussion, at 7 pm CET on Monday evening.

The symposium is being organized by the WCC and the World Association for Christian Communication, an international, ecumenically linked organization that promotes communication as a basic human right, essential to people’s dignity and community. Together the networks of the two organizations will enable a unique global perspective, from grassroots and marginalized communities to media, academia and technology. 

Co-organizing the conference are Brot für die WeltEvangelical Church in Germany (EKD),  Evangelische Mission Weltweit (EMW), and World Student Christian Federation
