It’s time to sign up for People vs Fossil Fuels! We’re here to help

Join the multi-faith Build Back Fossil Free Action in DC on Oct. 12

Clean water is precious. We need an upsurge of people of faith around the globe supporting the actions on the ground by calling on President Biden to stop Line 3 and all other projects that threaten our precious climate and water.

This October in Washington DC, Indigenous people are again asking people of faith for our support. Build Back Fossil Free is a week of actions to pressure Pres. Biden to stop new oil and gas pipelines. Tuesday, Oct. 12 is the day that people of faith and religious leaders are taking part.

Will you join me?

Here’s a few things I want you to know.

Your safety is our priority.

Everyone participating in this action will show proof of vaccination and wear masks. We’ll practice social distancing, and hold our information sessions outdoors. We’ll watch public safety advisories and keep our protocols and precautions at the safest level possible.

You don’t have to plan alone!

We are stronger together. GreenFaith organizers will help you plan and connect you with others to organize around transportation and housing. Feel free to reach out to gail@greenfaith.org with questions and access needs.

You, yes YOU, belong in this movement.

Scholarships are available to cover costs. If this is your first nonviolent direct action, you’re not the only one. By signing up, you’re simply opening the door to more information. And you will be trained every step along the way at the multi-faith delegation itself.

Are you ready to take the next step? Learn more about the action with this FAQ, and sign up here to receive more information.

With appreciation,

Gail and the GreenFaith Team
