UPDATE on this week’s Faith Community Calls for Care and Resilience

We hope you and your loved ones are holding up as communities are getting hit harder and harder by the Coronavirus. But as Rebecca, a GreenFaith community member, said on Thursday’s call:
“It is so surprising to me the ways that relationships are able to be strengthened in the midst of self-imposed isolation. I am so grateful for the many silver linings within this frightening time.”
We are again hosting Faith Community Calls for Care and Resilience this week, every weekday at 4pm / 16:00 New York time. (Find your local time here)
Join the more than 700 GreenFaith community members who came together online last week. Linda, another GreenFaith member, said it well: “This has become such a sacred time for me.”
Today, Monday, March 23, we are joined by two spiritual leaders: Branda Ng and Debra Boudreaux of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, we will welcome Rabbi Barry Schwartz from The Jewish Publication Society.
Join the conversation on Zoom or watch the simultaneous livestream here on Facebook.
As people of faith and spirit, we are building a world rooted in love, justice, and compassion for everyone in our human family.
We’re practicing care and resilience in this time of crisis. Finding peace within, and connection with each other.
See you this afternoon.
In faith,
Rev. Fletcher Harper and the entire GreenFaith team

P.S. We believe that the measurement of a healthy society is how we treat those who are the most vulnerable. Please join people of faith and spirit in signing and sharing this values statement, and committing to build that society together.

P.P.S. Missed one of the calls this week? Recordings of our Faith Community Calls for Care and Resilience are on our Facebook page.
