Green Faith - Today only, join us for leading Scholar Imam Zaid Shakir

We tried something new in yesterday’s Faith Community Call for Care and Resilience. You had told us that you wanted more time to connect with each other to build community. So we made the time.
Here is what Maryann said about the small breakout sessions we started during yesterday’s call: “It was so nice to get more personal and share ideas.”
For the reflection today, we are joined by Imam Zaid Shakir, a prominent Muslim American Scholar who co-founded Zaytuna College, the first accredited Muslim college in the U.S. We are so honored to have him.
So, today, please come to the Faith Community Call for Care and Resilience that is taking place, as it has every day for the last two weeks at 4pm / 16:00 New York time. (Find your local time here)
We then invite you again to join us for a 30-minute breakout session. There, we’ll connect in smaller groups to deepen the conversation, and share ideas on how to organize our neighbors and congregations as we face this crisis.
Please register for the call here on Zoom. (Please note that this is a NEW Zoom link that requires registration. That allows us to do small breakout groups during the call.)
As people of faith and spirit, we are building Communities of Care and Resilience. We are all together in this--with love, justice, and compassion.
And with a little more time to connect. We hope you can join us.
In faith,
Rev. Fletcher Harper and the entire GreenFaith team
