We're trying something new! And today’s speaker

David said something during today’s Faith Community Call for Care and Resilience that stuck with us: “Despite the coronavirus, I need to serve and act more now. I feel it so powerfully.”
We heard from the hundreds of you who joined the weekday calls. You said you wanted more time to connect with each other to build community. We hear you.
So this is what is happening today, Wednesday, March 24: The regular, weekday Faith Community Call for Care and Resilience is taking place, as it has every day for the last ten days, at 4pm / 16:00 New York time. (Find your local time here)
Joining the call today is Sunita Viswanath, the co-founder of Hindus for Human Rights and Sadhana: Coalition for Progressive Hindus. Sunita is living and building a Hinduism that prioritizes social justice, and upholding the Hindu principles of ekatva (oneness), ahimsa (non-violence) and sadhana (faith in action).
We then invite you to join us for a 30-minute breakout session. There, we’ll connect in smaller groups to deepen the conversation, and share ideas on how to organize our neighbors and congregations in this time of need.
Please join the conversation on Zoom. (Please note that this is a NEW Zoom link that allows us to do breakout groups right after the regular call.)
As people of faith and spirit, we’re practicing care and resilience in this time of crisis. We are, together, creating a world rooted in love, justice, and compassion. And are finding peace within, and connection with each other.
We can’t wait to see you this afternoon.
In faith,
Rev. Fletcher Harper and the entire GreenFaith team

P.S. Missed one of the calls this week? Recordings of our Faith Community Calls for Care and Resilience are all on our Facebook page.
