🌊 Riding the waves of change

After General Assembly 2022
Take Action for Peace
Sometimes it can be hard to feel the ripple effect in our congregations and the broader world after decisions are made at General Assembly. The reality is organizing for peace happens in the many days and months between our national gatherings.

This year, the PC(USA):
  • voted to divest from five fossil fuel companies,
  • voted to endorse a decade to end gun violence and encourage congregations to join the Guns to Gardens movement,
  • continued their commitment in the fight to end cash bail,
  • and made several statements regarding peace in the international community including Ukraine, Korea, and Palestine.

Now it's time for us to connect these important decisions to the people in the pews!
Join us for a conversation with PPF leaders to hear more about how you can take action.

We will go live in the Presbys following GA225 Facebook Group on September 13th at 12pm ET to talk more about ending gun violence, moving dollars away from fossil fuel industries, abolition and the anti-war movement.

Let's make waves together!
With hope,

David Ensign, Interim Executive Director
