What we’re all about

Over the last year, GreenFaith has stepped back to reflect on how we can do more impactful work in the world. Our new mission reads:
Because the Earth and all people are sacred and at risk, GreenFaith is building a worldwide, multi-faith climate and environmental movement. Together our members create communities to transform ourselves, our spiritual institutions, and society to protect the planet and create a compassionate, loving and just world.
We have ambitious plans over the next year. With partners around the world, we’ll be launching a GreenFaith International Network. We’ll be working together to build a stronger, and more diverse climate and environmental justice movement that is rooted in faith and spirit, and that has an unshakeable moral compass.
At the same time our community is reaching out globally, we’re also digging deeper at the hyper-local level by building local communities of care and resilience - GreenFaith Circles. In these Circles, we will work to transform ourselves through individual sustainable practices, develop climate leaders in our houses of worship and spiritual communities, and help lead transformative global campaigns. Already, GreenFaith Circles are getting started and connecting with people of spirit and faith across the world. These Circles are building a strong, diverse, united moral and religious voice calling for the protection of our communities, our Earth, and all people.
On Thursday, join us to hear more about GreenFaith and our strategy to create a future that’s good for all creation. Join us and learn how you can become a part of this global movement. This call is the window into everything that we’ll be working on over the next year and we want you to be with us. There are a limited number of spots left on the call, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
Thank you again for being part of the GreenFaith community. I hope to see you on one of the calls.
In faith and partnership,
Louis Romain
P.S. If you can’t make the call, consider contributing to GreenFaith’s work here.
