Blanco County Leash Law | ||

My Corgi dog Lola was viciously attacked by my neighbors pit bull back in March. We have 5 acres that’s fenced in Blanco County. My neighbors pit bull jumped our fenced 5 acres and attacked my Corgi. Her head was stuck in the fence hanging upside down, bleeding to death. The pit bull continued to violently shake her head. My son that was home had to call 911, the Sherriff responded and had to cut her free from the fence. $1400.00 later in vet bills my neighbor refused to pay any vet bills and refuses to lock up his pit bulls. The Sherriff keeps being called but they can’t do anything since there isn’t a leash law. The pit bulls now have puppies and 8 of them are running up and down our road. Some are even pregnant. The owner refuses to get them fixed or build a secure fence for them. All of our neighbors keep calling the Blanco County Sherriff office about this. They said there is no leash laws for Blanco County and they can’t do anything. We are trying to put a end to these vicious pit bulls. We need lots of signatures to try and pass a leash law for Blanco County. Please help share and sign our Petition. Thank you!
