Presbyterian Justice & Peace - Continuing the mission of socially responsible investing

The Office of Faith-Based Investing and Corporate Engagement staffs the Committee on Mission Responsibility Through Investment (MRTI) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). MRTI implements the General Assembly’s policies on socially responsible investing (also called faith-based investing) by engaging corporations in which the church’s investing entities own stock. While under more normal circumstances we’d be preparing for the upcoming General Assembly, due to the global pandemic, MRTI business will not be considered by the 224th General Assembly. But the committee's work continues. Learn more about MRTI’s response to this decision and other news from our office.
