"Engage and Adapt" tomorrow!

Recent legislation passed by Congress will bring changes to both Medicaid and SNAP, and we must ensure our communities are prepared. The “Engage and Adapt” series will provide you with the tools you need to engage with decision-makers as they determine how to apply the law and where to implement fixes, while also equipping you with the tools required to ensure our communities are prepared for the withdrawal of community support by Congress.

Join us on August 5th for the Engage and Adapt series to help our communities prepare!

We’ve seen a fantastic outpouring of passionate support for vital programs like Medicaid and SNAP in recent efforts to save them from federal changes aimed at reducing access. We want to make sure we do not lose our energy while Congress is in recess, with looming budget negotiations upon their return. In the “Engage and Adapt” series, we will teach you how to lead delegations to schedule effective meetings with federal, state, and local officials. We will also share your concerns about the recent decisions made by Congress and demand that they restore as much support as possible in policy moving forward.

Recess doesn’t mean we have to give them a rest, learn about office visits with “Engage and Adapt”

While it is essential to raise our voice in advocacy, we also need to ensure that we’re prepared for the changes that we know are coming. With the recent legislation that has been passed, we know people in our communities will have more difficulty navigating the systems they need to access the support that is vital to their lives. Join us on August 5th for “Engage and Adapt” to learn and discuss the best ways to offer support for individuals who will face new boundaries in care.

Join us on August 5th at 7:00 PM EST for the “Engage and Adapt” series.

Take Action

With thanks,

Chad
