GreenFaith - Here’s your daily dose of hope

Last Thursday’s Faiths 4 Climate Justice Celebration calls just blew me away.

The inspiring stories from grassroots leaders across the globe, who organized over 400 worldwide events for climate justice throughout the month of October.

The feeling of hope our community has - despite the many challenges we face from corrupt governments and corporations.

The perseverance. The courage. The solidarity. The laughter. The joy.

I am filled with gratitude in moments like this - when I can truly feel the strength of our global, multi faith movement for climate justice.

Here’s the wrap up video we shared on the calls last week - I’d love for you to join in the celebration by taking a moment to watch it.

I promise, it will lift your spirits.

Once you’ve watched, will you join me in sharing this inspiring video with your community?

Here’s some sample language you can use in your Facebook or Twitter post, but feel free to make it your own:

Facebook: I’m celebrating people of faith rising together for bold climate action with @GreenFaith! We are calling for an immediate end to all new fossil fuel infrastructure, investments in renewable energy, and a just transition for those most affected by the crisis. #Faiths4Climate https://youtu.be/L4aK4ldRB5U
Twitter: I’m celebrating people of faith rising together for bold climate action with @greenfaithworld! Check out this video of #Faiths4Climate Justice: https://youtu.be/L4aK4ldRB5U

Whether you were able to join one of the calls or not: know that we are all part of this powerful movement to move towards a just, renewable, clean energy future.

In my heart I know that together, we can bend that moral arc towards justice. Sometimes, you can even see it bending.

In hope, in faith,

Anna Wagner, Interim Co-Director of Organizing
GreenFaith
