The SC governing bodies and DHEC have not prioritized teachers, school employees, bus drivers and other school district personnel into the 1a group for vaccinations. This should be a top priority if Face 2 Face education is the goal and not shutting down schools. We will continue to lose good educators either if they or quarantined or worse hospitalized or the unthinkable happens. Please move all education staff to the top of the list for vaccinations and into the 1a group. This will positively impact both our teachers and parent community that are concerned for their well being. 23 states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have made teacher and staff eligible. SC needs to join the ranks and priorities teachers immediately. | |||||||||||||||
