Change.org - Frito-Lay

Frito-Lay union members cite horrific working conditions. These include 12 hour days, 7 days a week—and once, even being forced to move the dead body of a coworker so they could keep working. Now, half the workers at the Frito-Lay plant in Topeka, Kansas are on strike after voting down their 4th potential contract in less than 1 year. Frito-Lay is refusing to negotiate anymore. The workers’ petition asks for support in ending the abusive practices of the company and securing their first pay raise in years.

600+ union members are on strike for better treatment, benefits, and decent pay raise. People have worked 12’s 7 days a week for months some the past year. We are ready for change to see our family and kids. Help us end Frito-Lays greed and stop them from treating their workers horribly and keeping them away from our family’s.
