GreenFraith - It's Time For Us to Rise Up!

GreenFaith Logo

Many of us are deeply concerned about what the election means for our collective future. The incoming administration’s callous disregard for climate policies that protect people and the planet run counter to our religious, spiritual, ethical values.

As people of faith, we will rise in response. GreenFaith is organizing a series of calls to share our plans to respond. We want to hear your ideas, too. See below and register to join us!

JOIN A CALL TO COURAGE

A Call to Courage: Faiths for Climate Justice #1
December 4 at 9am PT / 10am MT / 11am CT / 12pm ET

A Call to Courage: Faiths for Climate Justice #2
December 9 at 5pm PT / 6pm MT / 7pm CT / 8pm ET

A Clergy Call to Courage: Faiths for Climate Justice
January 7 noon PT / 1pm MT / 2pm CT / 3pm ET

GreenFaith is inviting faith leaders from all traditions – clergy and lay – to join us to plan and take action together. Right away, we are launching a Multi-Faith Public Call to Courage Pledge that shows that people of faith are calling for climate justice, not “drill, baby, drill.”

We know that people turn to their faith communities in times of need, and so we must be ready to respond to the challenges that lie ahead.

Whether it’s increasing climate migration, the targeting of religious and racial groups, lack of access to adequate healthcare, we as people of faith must protect the vulnerable and recommit to speaking with a united voice in the public square.

A Call To Courage is an opportunity for faith leaders to strategize and collectively gather strength for the days and years ahead. That’s why we are hosting two calls for our community to come together as well as a special call for clergy. Join us for A Call to Courage: Faiths for Climate Justice on December 4 or December 9 for our Clergy Call on January 7.

At GreenFaith we know we are meant to respond in moments such as these and we know that we are not alone!

We hope to see you on a call.

In solidarity and hope,
Rev. Amy Brooks Paradise and the US Organizing Team

PS Forward this to a friend or clergy person!
