Dear Ministry Partner, Our guest this week is one of the key spiritual leaders in Malawi. Within just the last month, Rev. Brian Kamwendo was selected to be the Senior Special Advisor on Religious Affairs to the new President of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera where he will be advising the president on relationships with the church community throughout the country. Previous to that he was Deputy Secretary of the Nkhoma Synod of the CCAP - Central Church Africa Presbyterian where on top of demanding liturgical duties he was responsible for overseeing all health ministries of the church.
Maybe the most important piece of this is that Rev. Kamwendo has been a great friend and supporter of the medical outreach efforts of the church and its international partners. MBF has always looked to his leadership and especially appreciates our great working relationship.
