FIELD HOSPITAL OPENS IN CENTRAL PARKOur Doctors and Nurses Are Working Around the Clock to Save Lives
I never thought we'd be setting up a field hospital in the heart of New York City. But today we opened our Emergency Field Hospital in Central Park to help save lives from the deadly outbreak of COVID‑19.

New York has become the epicenter of the pandemic in the U.S. Hospitals are overwhelmed with the sick and dying. Tens of thousands in the city are now infected and more than 1,000 people have died.
Dozens of our highly skilled and compassionate doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel are working around the clock to treat and comfort suffering victims. Our 14‑tent, 68‑bed facility—raised in Central Park's East Meadow—is treating COVID‑19 patients coming from our partner in the city, Mount Sinai Health System.
We want everyone who comes into our tents to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them. We are praying with patients and pointing them to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

These really are desperate times. We've never seen anything like this before. Our teams on the ground in New York and Italy need your prayers. Healthcare workers around the world do too as they work on the front lines battling this horrible disease. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

May God Bless You,
