The National Council of Churches in Korea has published a Korean translation of The Light of Peace: Churches in Solidarity with the Korean Peninsula, a book the World Council of Churches (WCC) fellowship is using to recognize 70 years of unresolved conflict on the Korean Peninsula.

The translation is available online. The book’s content, released by the WCC during 2020, is drawn from a variety of contributors, each with their own experience of, or expertise in, the Korean journey. Emphasizing the importance of a spiritual response, each chapter starts with a spiritual reflection, followed by a text, and ends with a prayer.

The book continues to serve as an educational, spiritual, and formational resource that encourages churches and individuals to pray for peace, reunification, and an end to war and division on the Korean Peninsula.
