Presbyterian Disaster Assistance - Hurricane Iota

— ACT/Sean Hawkey

Hurricane Iota made landfall as a strong Category 4 late Monday night, November 16, with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph near Haulover, Nicaragua, or about 30 miles south of Puerto Cabezas, according to The National Hurricane Center. The landfall location of Iota was just 15 miles south of where Hurricane Eta made landfall as a Category 4 earlier this month on November 3rd.

PDA has reached out to our partners in Central America to offer our prayers and assistance. More information will be available as the storm subsides and assessments are made.
