For the last three months, the COVID-19 pandemic has provided the opportunity for us to look more deeply at the future of international medical missions. And as Yogi would say – that future looks much different today than it ever has before.
Medical Missions Live continues its all-star lineup in July with more highly respected missions leaders that you won’t want to miss.
On Tuesday, July 7, we are honored to have a discussion with Dr. Mike Chupp. Mike is the CEO of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, which has over 19,000 members around the world. Mike has a passion for short-term and long-term medical missions, medical education and building sustainable healthcare systems. He is in quite a unique position to share what he sees as critical changes coming in the next ten years.
Then on Tuesday, July 21, we will get together with Dr. Paul Osteen. Dr. Osteen is an Associate Pastor at the world-famous Lakewood Church in Houston; he spends four to five months a year as a surgeon at various mission hospitals throughout the developing world and Dr. Osteen also leads M3, a key annual national conference for medical professionals interested in international ministry. Dr. Osteen is a highly respected global authority on the current and future status of missions.
The interviews get better each week. If you are part of a missions committee at your church or have a personal interest in medical missions, you will benefit from the perspective of where international missions are headed. However, the trends and changes aren’t just related to the medical arena. Everywhere, things are changing. You will appreciate the 30 quick minutes of insight.
