Celebrating all of Creation on Earth Day Weekend

EARTH DAY 2023

Tomorrow is Earth Day, a time to celebrate the beauty of the gift of Creation.  Presbyterians for Earth Care has much to do. You can help by becoming a member or renewing your membership.  If you are already a current member, your continued involvement with PEC is very much appreciated.

When you are part of PEC, you add your voice to a national network of Presbyterians and other people of faith who want to make creation care a central concern of the church. You will:
  • be connected with other members in your presbytery and synod by a Regional Representative who will communicate regularly with you.
  • be invited to attend PEC webinars on topics that interest you.
  • hear about earth care advocacy opportunities at PC(USA) and state and national levels.
  • learn more about PEC's Conference at Massanetta Springs, VA, September 20-23, 2023.

Your membership supports a group with a spiritual and Presbyterian foundation that addresses environmental issues and concerns within the Church and in society. You may also choose to volunteer to use your skills and gifts in one of our recently formed committees: Programs, Communications, Organizational Development, and Advocacy. Email
pec@presbyearthcare.org for more information and to volunteer.

We believe that a vibrant and engaged PEC is essential to achieve a livable and sustainable future in this amazing world that God graciously created for us and expects us to protect. Scientists have made clear that urgent action is needed. We believe the Church can make a real difference at this crucial time. If you are not already a current PEC Member, please join at the level you can afford either online
donatenow.networkforgood.org/pecmembership or by mailing a check to: PEC Treasurer, P.O. Box 8041, Prairie Village, KS 66208.

We have a new PEC brochure!  You can download your printable copy -
