Compelled by the Gospel, PPL equips Presbyterians to champion human life at every stage PPL PRESS RELEASE June 24, 2022   PPL Statement on Dobbs v. Jackson Final Decision   PPL rejoices and gives glory to God in the decision of the Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. It is a godly turn from a culture that recognizes the ability to kill an unborn fully human person in the womb as a right. Those unborn persons are made in the image of God and “knit together in the mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13. Although welcome and long-awaited, the war against unborn human beings is not won. This decision will shift the struggle for life to the states and many states will provide unbridled access to abortion on demand. Some states may even make it a state right. Abortion will only end when life is cherished in the heart – a heart transformed by the Gospel.
