Join us for a special From Climate Grief to Earth Courage call as we remember and honor the life and legacy of Joanna Macy—beloved teacher, activist, and visionary. Her words continue to guide us: "The heart that breaks open can contain the whole universe."
This gathering will be part of GreenFaith’s ongoing Climate Grief Circles—a sacred space to share our grief, honor our love for the Earth, and transform sorrow into connection and courage. In this time of deep ecological loss, these circles offer a refuge for our spirits and a reminder that we are not alone. This call will be on Monday, August 4th at 5pm PT / 8pm ET.

Circle News: Updates from Charlotte, North Carolina!
The Charlotte Circle has been busy this year! Made up of representatives from a variety of congregations, the group unifies around collective actions that push for climate justice and a just transition to a clean energy future. This spring the UU Community of Charlotte hosted a climate revival with nearly 60 people attending and Myers Park Baptist Church led a Climate Justice march on Sunday morning, just as people were getting out of church.
Next month the Charlotte Circle will be back for a protest at WellsFargo due to the bank’s retracting their climate commitments and in September we will be joining many other congregations around the country to celebrate renewable energy and hope for a just transition to a clean energy future. While we are still working on our plan – we hope it will intersect with our annual arts festival that is conveniently happening that weekend and will include a parade/pilgrimage through the park celebrating clean energy – as a moveable art piece!
