The Climate Crisis and Empowering HopeAs spring turned to fall in North America, over 200 registered participants gathered in-person and online for PEC’s conference in Massenetta Springs, VA and other locations throughout the country. They took part in meaningful worship with The Rev. Dr. Diane Moffet, The Rev. Dr. Neddy Astudillo, and Rev. Jed Koball, daily bible study with The Rev. Dr. Patricia Tull, and workshops led by experts in a wide variety of topics related to caring for God’s creation. Through the many conference sessions, information was shared and discussed on a wide variety of topics, from environmentally responsible investing to suggestions for helping the church welcome spiritual refugees of the climate crisis. Even if you were unable to attend the conference, you can still access its inspiration and information through the conference recordings and resources on PEC’s website.
