Between 2 Pulpits Podcast

We are excited to announce the launch of the Between 2 Pulpits podcast! This podcast aims to showcase congregations' impact through their participation in the Special Offerings and support of the Giving Catalog. Between 2 Pulpits will highlight the ministries and missions funded by these gifts, while also providing encouragement, ideas, and resources for congregations of all sizes to further the work of the church in the world.

We have three great episodes for you to enjoy. The first episode introduces our hosts, John and Katie. Following that, there is a two-part interview with Carl Horton, the Coordinator for the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program for the PC(USA). In these interviews, you will learn about the peacemaking efforts of the PC(USA) and the free resources available to any congregation interested in peacemaking.

Meet our Hosts!

Rev. John Wilkinson

Director of Ministry Engagement and Support

John has served the church in various capacities. He was a pastor in congregations in Chicago, Rochester, and Philadelphia, as well as an active member of presbyteries. He served on two seminary boards and helped establish the Covenant Network of Presbyterians and NEXT Church. Wilkinson has been a member and moderator of the Committee on the Office of the General Assembly and was a member of the Theological Task Force on Peace, Unity, and Purity of the Church. Katie Snyder

Certified Christian Educator

Katie served in churches as a Director of Christian Education for a number of years. She led the POINT network which was a network of educators and other leaders who were passionate about PC(USA) curriculum and other resources. She is the creator of the Disability Inclusion for Ministry module for Opening Doors to Discipleship a free training website for church leaders. Now she supports the four Special Offerings behind the scenes. Learn more about Katie in our first episode.
