Here to Stay! MLP Pride 2023

As June fast approaches, we join you in preparing to celebrate Pride Month! Together, we proclaim that the LGBTQIA+ community is Here to Stay! We are living through legislative attacks on our communities, escalating rhetorical strategies designed to stoke fear, and a state of emergency for transgender youth and their families. Yet queer joy, trans imagination, and the abiding possibilities of God's kindom remain with us, and so we remain. We cannot and will not retreat into the shadows.

In the coming days and weeks, we'll be joining you, your loved ones, and your congregations in uplifting the sacredness, resilience, and possibilities of our communities. Some of our offerings will include:

The reopening of our store, for all your Pride flag sticker and pronoun button needs! Grab a few for you and your friends, or a few hundred for a Pride booth or congregational celebration. Click to visit the store
A full order of worship inspired by our theme and June's lectionary readings for your congregation to use in your Pride/MLP worship service. This material will be available by May 30th.
And, save the date: More Light will host a live, virtual worship service on June 25th at 7 pm ET/6 pm CT/4 pm PT. More details will be available soon - watch out for a link to RSVP.
