Please join us on the occasion of United Nations 67th Commission on the Status of Women for a special conversation with the Presbyterian Church (USA)’s own Christine Darden, a mathematician, aeronautical engineer, and retired leader of NASA's Sonic Boom Group. Darden is one of the researchers featured in the book Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race (2016), a history of some of the influential African-American women mathematicians and engineers at NASA in the mid-20th century. We are honored to have the Rev. Dr. Diane Moffett,  President and Executive Director of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, interview Dr. Darden on the role that innovation and technological change play in the empowerment of all women and girls.
