Throughout this year, we’ve called on Congress to show moral courage—and we want to make sure they know we’re not stepping back now. As federal budget cuts and legislative changes reshape access to critical programs, our faith communities will feel the impact first. On January 13th at 7 PM EST, join Sojo Action for our next Engage and Adapt training, where we’ll focus on how to raise our voices and prepare our communities to navigate what’s ahead. We are honored to welcome Lauren Reliford from the Children’s Defense Fund, who will help us understand the ripple effects of recent federal cuts, especially in healthcare research and support services. These shifts mean that faith leaders are now an even more essential line of care, advocacy, and accompaniment. This session will offer both vision and practical tools: how to speak with clarity to elected officials how to guide congregants through new barriers to care, and how to sustain hope and action in this season of change.
