GreenFaith - Be part of the movement: Sign & Share the Faith Letter for a Fossil Fuel Treaty

I’m writing to you from the Parliament of the World’s Religions (PWR) in Chicago, USA. As the world around us is suffering from extreme heat, flooding and droughts, all of our faith and spiritual traditions gathered here at the PWR call on us to work for climate justice.

The current scale of the climate crisis requires a cooperative global solution that addresses the fossil fuel industry directly.

That is why I’m asking you to sign the faith letter for a fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty, and share it with as many people as you can. Climate disasters will deprive many communities of everything they have, even though this is not their fault. This is one we can demand for the financing of loss and damage. The polluters must pay, in order for those disproportionately affected to get justice.

We’ve put together a resource kit with sample social media posts and graphics you can use to spread the message, here.

Check out the resource kit & share the letter today.

Thank you,

In solidarity and hope,
rev. abby
