SojoAction - This month at Sojourners

At Sojourners, we know these are not easy times. Many of us are carrying grief, uncertainty, and a deep longing for a more just and truthful world. And yet, even now, we believe hope is still worth practicing together. We believe faith can steady us, truth can clarify our path, and community can help us keep showing up with courage.

That’s why we continue to create spaces for reflection, learning, and faithful action — places where people can gather not to look away from the challenges before us, but to meet them with moral clarity, spiritual depth, and a renewed commitment to justice.

Each month, we’ll share opportunities from across Sojourners and SojoAction so you can find meaningful ways to learn, connect and act. In April and May, we will spend time focusing on the church’s response to authoritarianism, highlighting ways for each of us to engage in the topic and in the transformation of our communities.

Upcoming Events

Join Interfaith Alliance and partners tonight at 7pm ET for a national interfaith town hall, with Rev. Adam Russell Taylor, as we reflect on the immediate aftermath of No Kings III and explore how to turn this moment into sustained action for democracy, solidarity, and faithful public witness.

On Good Friday, join SojoAction live on Instagram at 11am ET, as we remember Jesus suffering under empire, we will be joined by Tanieris Dieguez, the Deputy Chief of Mission for Cuba, for a conversation on Cuba, the realities behind the headlines, and what peace and faithful responsibility require of us in this moment.

Join SojoAction on April 9th at 7pm ET for a timely conversation on how congregations can respond faithfully to militarization and state violence. With Rev. Jim Bear Jacobs and Rev. Sandra Maria Van Opstal, we’ll explore how communities of faith can move from fear and paralysis toward moral clarity, spiritual grounding, and courageous action shaped by the way of Jesus.
