Earth Day 2026: Energy From Heaven Action Opportunity

Earth Day 2026 arrives at a moment of moral choice: transform our energy system — or continue destroying what is sacred on this planet.

Join us Monday, March 9 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT to learn how your congregation or community can take part in bold Earth Day action. Sign up here.

GreenFaith is partnering with Energy From Heaven to highlight the profound contrast between fossil fuels and renewable energy and to help faith communities bring that moral story to life through worship, public witness, and action as part of the Covenant for Our Future campaign.

This Earth Day, we proclaim:

Energy from Heaven, not Energy from Hell.

Energy from Heaven — powered by sun and wind — is cleaner, more affordable, renewable, and rooted in justice.

Energy from “Hell” — fossil fuels — fuels fires, floods, illness, displacement, and inequality.

The choice is clear.

The language may seem stark, but so is the choice before us. We know people of faith are on the side of abundant life for all, so we hope you will join us this Earth Day.

Sign up here to learn more - Monday, March 9 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

In Solidarity,

Rev. Amy and the US Organizing Team

P.S. When the work feels heavy, we turn to song and one another. Join us for Dayenu’s Gathering for Song & Solidarity on Wednesday March 11th at 4pm PT / 7pm ET — a live, virtual evening of music, reflection, and Jewish wisdom with Sarina Partridge and Joshua Blaine. Come be renewed, reconnected, and reminded that you are not alone in this work. Co-sponsored by GreenFaith and Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light. Sign up now.
