A few weeks ago, on a quiet evening just before the flurry of Thanksgiving, 18 or so tender souls gathered online for GreenFaith’s first Climate Grief Circle. Together, we held the complexity of the holiday and honored each other’s grief for the ongoing climate crisis, growing violence around the world, and much more. We practiced gratitude in the midst of heartbreak – not as a way of dismissing sorrow or other difficult emotions, but as a way of remembering what really matters. Doing so helped grow our individual and collective capacity to navigate challenging times. I came away from November’s grief circle feeling nourished, hopeful, and reminded of what it means to live in sacred reciprocity with all things. Other attendees have reached out to say the same. That’s why I’m looking forward to our next program: Climate Grief Circle Sign up here to attend. Together, we’ll strengthen our spiritual resilience so that we can continue to bring our deep love into action. I hope to see you there. With gratitude, Rev.
