Compassion, Peace and Justice ministries are grateful for all of the ways you have supported our work and the efforts of our partners during 2023. May you and your loved ones have a wonderful and blessed holiday season. In our December issue of the Justice and Peace Monthly newsletter, you’ll find resources for Christmas and Advent to assist individuals and faith groups.

If you find yourself with some extra time during vacation, consider catching up on episodes of “A Matter of Faith: A Presby Podcast” or reading the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program’s year-round resources, such as A Sowing of Peace, which currently focuses on solidarity with Ukraine.

Amplifying the voices of Black women during Advent

The Rev. Brooke Scott of the Church on Main is among the contributing writers for Unbound’s new Advent resource, “Another Starry Black Night.” She joined the project because of “a passion for amplifying the voices of Black women and addressing the urgency of justice in our communities, locally and globally.”

One-stop shop for Advent resources
