![]() We are excited to invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 19 at 4:30pm PT / 7:30pm ET for a special webinar about GreenFaith’s new report “A Call for Energy from Heaven Not from Hell” and to take next steps together. As part of our GreenFaith community, you know our movement is rooted in the belief that the Earth and all people are sacred and at risk. Together, we’ve organized across faith traditions to stop fossil fuel expansion, support a just transition to renewable energy, and make polluters pay for climate damages. The struggle against fossil fuel expansion is currently reaching a crisis point in our nation's capital. And the moment to organize is now. As part of the broader Covenant for Our Future coalition, GreenFaith is confronting the “Stop Climate Shakedowns Act,” which would shield fossil fuel companies from accountability while communities continue suffering from fires, floods, pollution, and extreme heat. At this webinar, we will learn more about the new report, hear details about the Stop Climate Shakedowns Act and what we can do about it from movement leaders and experts, and be energized as people of faith to continue organizing for a just climate future. I hope you’ll join us on May 19 to take action together. In solidarity, Rev. Amy Brooks Paradise |
