This month’s edition of the Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries focuses on Leadership Institutes for Leaders of Color and their importance to the Church. Alexandra Zareth is the associate for Leadership Development and Recruitment for Leaders of Color in Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries. Following are some of her reflections.
Leadership Development Institutes (LDIs) gather, connect, and inspire leaders of color who have are in service to the Body of Christ in dynamic ways. Our LDIs provide an important space of theological reflection where individuals connect to God and one another while fostering relationships and being spiritually nourished.

Gender and Leadership Study
Expanding the narrative on the PC(USA)’s gender and leadership study
A 2016 study conducted by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Research Services, "Gender and Leadership in the PC(USA)" identified two key findings: gender discrimination is still pervasive within the denomination, and almost half its members are not particularly aware of it.
