Join in the work of Compassion, Peace & Justice

Rev. Jimmie Hawkins, Director of Office of Public WitnessWe are barely a month into 2020, and the work of Compassion, Peace & Justice in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is well underway in this new decade. From communities in struggle to the halls of financial and legislative power, this month’s newsletter details how CPJ Ministries are doing the work we are called to do in Matthew 25.
And the work of Compassion, Peace & Justice is work we want you to be involved in as well. The Office of Public Witness invites you to join us and our fellow ministries in our Nation’s Capital on April 24 for Compassion, Peace & Justice Training Day exploring how we work for the restoration of God’s creation and people.  And stay with us and our faith partners through the weekend for Ecumenical Advocacy Days, culminating with a day of lobbying for justice on Capitol Hill on April 27. We hope to see you there.
