View this email in your browser Support fair and free elections Election officials throughout the country are seeing tremendous pressure across the system amid continued efforts to undermine confidence in elections. As Christians, we must be vocal in our support for these volunteers and public servants, ensuring we have a functioning civic society that protects and honors everyone. Our work through our congregations and communities gives us an opportunity to create a mighty chorus of voices demanding free and fair elections. With our voices raised, we can ensure that every Attorney General throughout the country pledges to do all they can to support elections and protect election workers. Now is the time to make our voices heard everywhere. Demand Every Ballot Is Counted We are seeing a years-long effort to undermine confidence in U.S. elections. Some states, at the behest of Donald Trump, began an unprecedented effort to redraw maps for the midterm elections. Not satisfied with this, he also sent the FBI to seize ballots in Georgia. Throughout these efforts, the White House has been demanding that the SAVE Act be passed, which would nationalize our election process. With the threats against elections throughout the country, we must make sure officials understand we want them to protect every vote. We must act now to support our election officials. We ask that you ask your congregations and community partners to join us now to contact your Attorney General and demand that they pledge to protect elections and the election officials who count every vote. With more threats to our election process than ever, we must be vocal in our commitment to democracy.
