GreenFaith - One Week since Sun Day, but our work is not over!

GreenFaith Logo

It’s been one week since Faiths 4 Climate Justice: Sun Day, and the impact is still unfolding. Photos, stories, and reports are pouring in—from dozens of events and hundreds of attendees nationwide. You can view many of those photos in this video slideshow by clicking here.

Join us for what’s next by attending our October 23rd National Organizing Call.

People of all faiths from New Jersey to California came together – praying, walking, and singing – to demand action for climate justice and an urgent need to transition to clean, affordable, and accessible energy. Together we hosted:

  • Outdoor worship and solar blessings in churchyards, temples and parks

  • Art builds and marches led by interfaith groups, youth, elders and more

  • Community meals, workshops, and song circles that nourished both body and spirit

It is an exciting time and an important moment to be engaged. Even as we celebrate this success, we are already planning our next effort and we hope you will be a part of it. Please join us on October 23, 5pm PT / 8pm ET for a call to learn more about our plans for 2026.

People of faith are a powerful, growing force for climate justice. Together we are building not just a climate movement, but a spiritual one—rooted in justice, compassion, and care for our common home.

Let’s carry the Sun Day spirit forward—together.

With gratitude and determination,

Rev. Amy Brooks Paradise
