Presbyterian Peace Fellowship - So Katy Perry went to space...

Hey Friends,

Earlier this week, Katy Perry and 6 other wealthy celebrity women literally launched into space aboard a Blue Origin flight. And while billionaires and celebrities are busy orbiting Earth, we’re staying grounded—building peace, organizing for justice, and showing up in community.

This month’s e-news is full of ways you can plug in, reflect, connect, and take action with PPF. From supporting Chijioke (our amazing Lost & Found Resident), to joining a working group, to catching the latest podcast episode or joining us for Easter worship—there’s something for everyone.

We say it all the time, but it’s true: PPF is where faith meets action. And that work is only possible because of people like you. So take a scroll, see what’s new, and find a way to get involved this spring.

Easter with Lost & Found — Sunday, April 20 at 7pm ET / 6 CT / 5 MT / 4 PT

This Easter Sunday, we gather in defiance of despair and death.

We’ll witness the impossible—resurrection in the midst of devastation—and hold space for both the grief of Good Friday and the joy of Easter.

Join us for a powerful service of poetry, scripture, song, reflection, and communion, led by Annica Gage (PPF Co-Moderator). Bring your whole self—your awe, your ache, your hope.

Curious what Lost & Found is like?

Watch a recent gathering on YouTube — and remember, nothing beats being there in real time. You can also check out a video of Lost & Found from March 30th, led by our Lost & Found resident Chijioke Agbaeze below.

Support Chijioke: Help Him Cross the Finish Line

If you’ve ever joined a Lost & Found gathering, chances are you’ve felt the grounding, thoughtful presence of Chijioke Agbaeze—our beloved Lost & Found Resident.

Chijioke is a minister from Nigeria pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology and Ecology at Princeton Seminary. He’s poured his heart into this degree with the vision of serving communities impacted by ecological devastation and spiritual displacement—both at home in Nigeria and around the globe.

Now, he needs our help.

Chijioke is facing an unpaid school fee balance of $8,420, and Princeton has informed him he won’t be allowed to participate in graduation on May 17, 2025, or register for his final June Term unless the balance is cleared. After all the work and sacrifice, the possibility of being forced to withdraw is devastating.

This is a moment for the PPF community to come through.

Can you chip in to help Chijioke complete his education?

Every gift helps. Let’s help carry Chijioke across the finish line.

Two Weeks of Hope: A Dispatch from the Frontlines of Nuclear Disarmament

Joanne Dufour shares reflections from two powerful events this spring: the United Nations gathering on the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and a grassroots movement-building conference in Seattle. From global policy shifts to direct action at a naval base, Joanne invites us to imagine—and organize for—a world without nuclear weapons.

Presbyterians played a visible and vocal role, alongside longtime peace activists and global leaders. As nuclear threats escalate, Joanne’s words are a reminder that resistance is not only necessary—it’s possible.
