GreenFaith - Together, we are mighty.

Give now to double your impact for climate justice

When we act, it matters.

Earlier this year, ten GreenFaith Circle leaders here in Tanzania - ten local people of faith who I work with every week - called for our country’s president to exit the East African Crude Oil Pipeline project.

In response, the local government and police threatened and imprisoned them. These are my friends. My sisters and brothers in faith.

It was terrifying for our community leaders, unjust, and immoral. It was meant to scare them into silence.

But because GreenFaith leaders like you took action across the globe by writing letters, leading direct actions, and calling for their immediate release, after two months the harassment ended.

People working together across faith traditions creates real power and strength. This influences fossil fuel companies, governments, and a whole host of bad actors.

This is why we must continue to be brave, even in the face of powerful forces that oppose us.

Our prayers, our words, and our actions matter.

Please join me today in supporting GreenFaith.

It takes resources to visit communities, lead trainings and workshops, organize press conferences and rallies; to research and expose the bad behavior of fossil fuel companies.

Here in Tanzania, people are ready to fight for a clean energy future that works for all of us, not just the rich and powerful, but without these vital funds, we won’t have the resources that it takes to act.

Please support GreenFaith generously today.

In faith and in hope,

Baraka Lenga
GreenFaith Tanzania

P.S. Acting together, we have the power to win. Please give generously to GreenFaith today. We have received a $50,000 matching grant, so every gift between now and December 31st goes TWICE as far!
