Please show your support for Tristan’s Law Senate Bill #608 -- State of Connecticut SB #608 was introduced in response to the tragic death of Tristan Barhorst, age 10, on June 12, 2020 when he was struck by a motor vehicle after having purchased ice cream from an ice cream truck. SB #608 is designed to alert drivers to the presence of children at an ice cream truck and will require vendors to vend more safely. It has been approved by the Transportation Committee and is awaiting approval by the full legislature in Connecticut. Other states do have similar laws and we need one in Connecticut!
