Are you wondering along with me, "What is God doing?" It is clear that the whole world is being shaken by a microscopic virus. We who believe in the Sovereignty of God over all things, know that even as health, life, and provision are being threatened, God is working on something good for us. We hold fast to faith in His love and salvation even while we may be personally shaken by our own vulnerability or that of our friends and family. As even our ability to gather in one space for corporate worship is stripped away for a time, we are finding a Springtime in our souls as we seek God's presence in solitude and we find community via technology, telephone, text. We see with fresh eyes that the love of Christ in one another is unstoppable and flowing out in a river of life as God's people share what they have and encourage and care for others.

John 3:31-36 (NASB)
"He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

April 5-11, 2020
1. Pray for Presbyterians to hold a healthy fear of God--knowing that God is true and it is through the words of The Son and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that God reveals truth to us. (Soli Deo Gloria).
2. Pray for wisdom for PPL to know when a prophetic word of the judgment to come is appropriate and also when words of love and hope are what is necessary.
